The first day of STYLO Fashion Grand prix saw YODA (Young Designers Associates) took the centre stage with some innovative and ‘interesting’ designs from our local up and coming designers. Showcasing their collections for the first time at STYLO, YODA is actually an association which aims is to develop and promote three creative sectors consisting make-up, fashion design and hair.

With the theme of fairytales, YODA’s 10 young designers took the audience that evening on a journey to their own magical land of fairies and all things magical.
Khalik Mustafa designed their clothes inspired by Malay traditional costumes. It’s not easy to stick to the theme of fairytales and magic when local elements are present. Both designers did quite a good job in showcasing both.
